A native of Asia (temperate), this fir is a fine textured, densely branched tree with a narrow, pyramidal shape. Native: Soviet Far East: Russian Federation - Primorye . China - Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jilin; Korea. The tallest known Manchurian fir, at 52 meters, is on an island off the coast of Korea [3].
